CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION: WHO CAN RUN WHICH RACE ?

To participate in the Championships to award an official title, you must :

  • Be aged on July 8, 2022 between 35 and 79 years old in order to be in the Master category (categories are not for year of birth but for date of birth)
  • In most Federations, there is no national selection. Any licensee can run under the colors of his country, but we invite you to verify this with your Federation.
  • There will be a limit to the number of runners per course, the first ones registered will be able to participate.
    For the French, we confirm that there will be no selection
  • Run under the name of your country and not that of your club!
    For the French, you will be in the "French Master team"!
  • Have a competition license in a Federation members of the EMA, the list can be found here.
  • For the French runners who are not yet licensed to the FFA, if you don't want to be licensed in an FFA club near your home, the MaXi-Team association (co-organizer of the event) offers licenses with advantages (such as a w-end reco/stage included). You can consult them on the website of the association
  • For the European runners who are not yet licensed, we invite you to contact the Federation of your country to know the procedure to follow.

To participate in open races you must:

  • Present a proof of aptitude (see § proof of aptitude)
  • Be at least 18 years old

There will be a limit to the number of runners per course, the first ones registered will be able to participate.
All runners whatever their level are welcome, but there will be no "Elite" invitation on the open races.

Please note that no proof of ability can be presented at the time of registration or after this date. If you do not present a valid proof of ability before this date, you will not be able to take part in the race, nor obtain a refund of your registration.

Proof of ability required by the FFA

Following the new rules for off-stadia races 2021, any participation in a competition affiliated to the FFA is subject to the compulsory presentation by the participants to the organizer:

  • An Athlé Compétition, Athlé Entreprise, Athlé Running license issued by the FFA, or a "Pass' J'aime Courir" issued by the FFA and completed by the doctor, valid on the date of the event. (Attention: other licenses issued by the FFA, notably Leisure, Health, Management and Discovery licenses, are not accepted)
    or a sports license, valid on the date of the event, on which must appear, by any means, the non contraindication to the practice of sport in competition, athletics in competition or running in competition and issued by one of the following federations
    - Federation of Defense Clubs (FCD),
    - French Federation of Adapted Sports (FFSA),
    - French Federation of Handisport (FFH),

Impossibility to participate once registered and Cancellation Insurance for the RACE

The cancellation insurance option will be updated in December when the registration module and the service provider
will be validated.

Procedure in case of cancellation of the Championships

In the event of cancellation of an "Official" European Championship, a postponement date will be "imposed" by the authorities and your registration automatically postponed. In the program Sunday is already a possible transfer day.

Registration fees for championships and open races

European Masters Championship:

Reminder: being licensed and running with the approved jersey for your country is compulsory!

  • Trail running 40km : € 55 (€ 45 + € 10 EMA) - with the special edition "FRANCE" approved jerseys offered for the first 500 French registrants.
  • Mountain Running 10km (Uphill): 35 € (25 € + 10 € EMA)
  • If a runner run the 2 races, the fee ill be 80 € (70 € + 10 € EMA)
